OKay, so the gods are up to their usual - interfering with the lives of mortals.
There is a dagger - the Omari Blaze dagger - which is the only thing in exsistance that can kill a god.
Ares and Nyx are fighting to get ahold of it so they can destroy it or prevent others from getting to it, but they discover a spell on it that only allows the person who put it there to remove it.
Enjoy!

Nyx walked through the dark village. Animals shied away from her, sensing she was different. But she would not hurt them. She was just walking through the night. Her night.
Her midnight dress flowed around her like shadows. Then she sensed someone coming. Another god. Someone appeared in front of her. Ares, god of War. Nyx narrowed her eyes. "Can't a girl get some peace?" she said. Ares; tall, broad and incredibly gorgeous, grinned. "That depends. This village is mine." "Ares, i have no interest in your grotty village. So back off. I'm walking." She continued past him and disappeared into the night.
Ares stared after. There had been a recent rumour of a dagger that could kill a god, and he would get as much information on the subject as possible. He wanted that knife.

The night was cold but Eirwen didn’t feel the chill. The small girl hovered effortlessly in midair; far below her was the place she needed to be. Eirwen loved making it snow in the night, to her, the white flakes against the black sky were the most beautiful things in the world. It was dark, far below her walked Nyx, goddess of the night. Eirwen retracted her wings and fell lightly towards the earth, a small flurry of snow catching her at the last minute and depositing her a few feet in front of Nyx. Eirwen inclined her head to the elder goddess "May I walk with you?" she asked.

Nyx eyed the small girl. The night could sometimes be lonely, even if most of the time that felt natural to Nyx. "Of course. What is your name?" "Eirwen." Nyx paused, sensing something in the air. "Go away, Ares," she said, talking to thin air. THen a tall, broad, well-muscled man - god - appeared in front of them. "Oh, is that anyway to treat your fellow god?" he said with mock shock. Nyx rolled her eyes. "If you want that Omari blaze dagger, you're wasting your time with me. I don't know who as it or even if anyone does have it." Ares scowled at her, and vanished. Nyx smiled. "At least, i don't know for sure, but i have an idea."

Eirwen walked alongside Nyx in silence for a time. Every time she took a step mare snow began to fall from the sky and soon they were walking through ankle deep fluff. "What is the Omari dagger" asked Eirwen suddenly.

"It is a dagger that can kill Gods. No normal sword or blade can, but this one's made out of something special." Then Nyx decided to go, and she said to Eirwen, "I have to find someone. See you later."
Then she vanished into the night, in search for someone.

Syan was walking silently through the forest. She had been hunting a deer half the morning. But every time it seemed within striking range, it got spooked by something. It was drawing her deeper in to the forest. It was getting darker, which had nothing to do with the time of day but rather the fact that the forest was now so thick that barely any light got through the canopy. She could have left it and picked another one, and she didn't know why. Something in her mind whispered to her, egging her on...
Then she realised she was lost. She looked around, ignoring the deer that had run off again. Something began to matrialise in front of her...
It was a woman; beautiful, long wavey hair, black as midnight, ever changing eyes. Syan knew the goddess of night; Nyx. The woman smiled. "Hello," she said. Her voice seemed to carry on the wind and flow gently over Syan, who glared at her. "What do you want Nyx?" "Well, i heard that a long time ago, you hid something. Something precious that would be very helpful to me."
Syan knew exactly what she was talking about. She had prepared herself for this day since she had hid the Omari Dagger. She knew she faced possible death by doing so, but she had not wanted the gods to get ahold of something like that.
Suddenly there was a flash, and Ares appeared behind Syan. She spun around and faced him, but didn't say anything. "Thank you so much for finding her, Nyx," he said with a smile. Then he grabbed Syan and disappeared.
OOC: do you think we could have someone else looking for the dagger?

OOC: Amber islooking for the dagger to kill whatever god it was that used the dagger to kill her mentor, the former goddess of fire. IC: Amber showed up next to Nyx. "Where did she go?" she panted. "Where did the mortal go? I searched half this world for her."

Nyx looked at Amber. "I know where they went, but we'll have a hell of a time trying to get in because of Ares."

Syan felt everything vanish around her and suddenly she was in a temple. Ares temple. There was no-one else there, and all was silent. She heard Ares behind her, and she turned to face him.
He was a tall, broad, gorgeous man, and a smirk completed the smug look. "What do you want, god of war?" asked Syan.
"I think you know the answer to that," he replied. His confident aura almost choked Syan.
"And i think you're forgetting the tiny detail that i will not tell you anything about the location of the Omari dagger. Don't you think i've prepared myself for this day? I hid it, i will face anyone who wants it. So my advice is to get over it. Go look for some Ambrosia, or something."

"I'll do whatever it takes," amber insisted. "I need that dagger. I can take care of Ares."

Syan looked at the girl. She raised her eyebrows and smirked. "What's so popular about the dagger all of a sudden?"
Ares came up behind them and took Syan's arm. "Excuse me miss," he drawled, "but i'm not done with the princess here. Still got some torturing to do."

Just then a cold breaze rustled through the temple. "Crap," Amber muttered "she found me. No, she cant. Not before I get the dagger." Then she turned to Ares "I'ver got to, but ill be back so dont even try to beat me to the Omari. And you," she said to Syan "had better keep looking over your shoulder because i will get the information out of you."
Not a minute after Amber left, Crystal showed up, icy blu eyes nearly freezing everything theylooked at. "Where she go?" she asked, her voice ringing clear through the temple. "I need to catch that little twerp."
